Built in 1910, the Loper House at Morgan Creek Ranch is nestled amongst cottonwood in a hay field. Rustic yet comfortable, our lodge sits at the base of Iles Mountain with a view of the Axial Basin.

The elk migrate off the White River National Forest into the Axial Basin, where there is prime winter habitat.
